Therapy integrates the various aspects of our lives and parts of ourselves as we move toward greater insight, power, freedom and authenticity — even through the most challenging times.

Individual Therapy

Your life is dynamic — a confluence of many aspects that are both universally human and uniquely part of your individual experience. I believe healing, change, and authenticity come through the integration of psychological, emotional, spiritual, social, professional, cultural, biological, moral and ethical aspects of life.

I use an existential-analytic approach to my work which goes beyond simply alleviating symptoms.  My job is to help you find freedom within life's constraints and discover agency where it feels like there are no choices. I want to understand your experiences and how they have shaped who you are so that you can make meaning of your life and move forward with strength and integrity.

I work with independent adults (18+) living with, but not limited to:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Grief & Loss
  • Stress & Burnout
  • Relationship difficulty
  • Life changes and transitions
  • Spiritual distress
  • Lived experiences of trauma

Themes often involve freedom/constraint, responsibility, boundary/opening, meaning/meaninglessness, safety/risk, belonging/isolation, identity, power/powerlessness, and mortality.

My practice is grounded in mind-body connection, and I  incorporate experiential practices to establish present-moment awareness and explore the relationship between thoughts, feelings, sensations, and our life stories.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

In addition to cash pay, I accept Aetna, Moda, United, and Regence BCBS.

TELETHERAPY

I currently am seeing clients through teletherapy. While I prefer counseling in-person, research has shown teletherapy to be equally as effective and the benefits to clients in terms of convenience and flexibility have proven themselves over time.
